Summary

Manta to Manta

4 Days 3 Nights | 125 NM

This four day Ecuador yacht itinerary is designed for guests who wish to experience the best of the country's central Pacific coast entirely from the water. Starting and finishing in Manta, a vibrant port city known for its seafood and long beaches, your yacht traces a graceful loop through wild islands, marine sanctuaries and quiet palm lined shores. From Manta you cruise north to Islote Pedernales, a rocky outcrop rich in birdlife and surrounded by clear water. The voyage continues to Isla de la Plata, often described as a more intimate Galapagos style experience, where sea birds, turtles and seasonal manta rays make this a dream stop for snorkelling and diving. Your third day brings you to Playa San Lorenzo, a broad crescent of sand backed by cliffs and forest, before you return along the coastline to Manta for a relaxed finale. Throughout, Azuvivo coordinates dockage, private tenders and bespoke excursions, allowing you to enjoy an Ecuador yacht charter that blends soft adventure, wildlife encounters and easy comfort on board.

DAY 1

Manta

35 NM | Coastal departure and sea cliffs

Board your yacht in Manta and enjoy a welcome drink as the crew casts off from the marina. The coastline slips by with long sandy beaches and small fishing villages before the sea grows wilder and the rocky silhouette of Islote Pedernales appears ahead. This offshore islet is known for dramatic cliffs and rich birdlife, a striking first anchorage on your Ecuador yacht itinerary.

Isla de la Plata

30 NM | Marine sanctuary escape

After breakfast the yacht turns south towards Isla de la Plata, a protected island within Machalilla National Park. The open water passage is short and scenic, and on arrival you are greeted by steep green slopes and nesting seabirds. Spend the day exploring by tender, snorkelling over reefs or going ashore with a guide to walk the island trails and watch for blue footed boobies and frigatebirds.

The setting is ideal for a beach focused day with ample time in the water.

Manta

20 NM | Return along the Pacific coast

On your final morning the yacht lifts anchor and makes an unhurried passage back down the coast to Manta. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and last views of the Pacific from the sun deck as the harbour comes into sight. Once alongside, there is time for final shopping or a short city wander, depending on your onward plans, before Azuvivo arranges a smooth transfer from the marina.
