MIMAY is Alkadia's pilot project. The schooner, purchased in 2022, was completely redesigned and, over the course of three years, rebuilt from the keel up using time-honored Italian naval techniques. The rebuilding process was completed in every part except the engine, which is currently still a classic diesel, pending the development and patenting with the University of a new, totally green propulsion system, designed by Alkadia. Today, Mimay is a vintage vessel, a unique blend of ancient and futuristic.
